Sue is a highly respected public safety professional with a distinguished career spanning over two decades. She retired as a Sergeant from the Saint Paul Police Department in 2023, leaving behind a legacy of excellence in leadership, community engagement, and public safety innovation.

Throughout her career, Sue served in a variety of critical roles on Federal, State, and local Task Forces, allowing her to develop a broad and in-depth understanding of crime prevention, investigative strategies, and interagency collaboration. She has a strong passion for fighting human trafficking, dedicating years to investigating these heinous crimes, holding offenders accountable, and bringing justice to victims. Her unwavering commitment to victim advocacy has helped survivors regain control of their lives, while her relentless pursuit of justice ensured that traffickers faced the consequences of their actions.

As an Inspector, Sue honed her expertise in risk mitigation, policy development, and compliance audits, ensuring that agencies operated with efficiency and accountability. Her keen analytical skills and forward-thinking approach have made her a trusted advisor in shaping policies that enhance public safety and operational effectiveness.
