Adam Wojciehowski

Senior Advisor, Organizational Resilience

Adam Wojciehowski is a seasoned expert in organizational resilience with over 15 years of cross-sector experience encompassing the finance, healthcare, energy, and public safety domains. His career has been distinguished by senior leadership roles in crisis management, physical security design, threat assessment, and enterprise-level continuity planning. He has consistently advanced integrated risk management strategies that align with institutional goals while fortifying critical infrastructure and operational continuity.

 

In his current role as Head of Business Continuity and Security Management at a major financial institution, Adam has architected and operationalized a comprehensive resilience framework grounded in globally recognized standards, including ISO 22301, NFPA 1600, and FEMA’s all-hazards methodology. His leadership has catalyzed a measurable enhancement in organizational readiness, improved regulatory alignment, and mitigated complex operational risks across distributed business units.

 

Prior to this, Adam served as Integrated Resiliency Management Consultant to the Office of General Counsel for a large multi-state healthcare system. In that capacity, he managed and influenced regulatory compliance and enterprise risk programs across more than 600 facilities. His efforts led to a system-wide reduction in clinical and operational vulnerabilities through the implementation of innovative workplace violence prevention protocols, emergency preparedness strategies, and survey readiness initiatives.

 

Adam’s public service tenure includes 15 years with the Somerset Police Department, where he held specialized roles in crisis negotiation and sensitive crimes investigations. He was instrumental in launching enduring community-based policing programs, including the Police School Liaison Officer initiative, which remains in operation. His public safety foundation informs his holistic approach to resilience and threat mitigation.

 

In addition to his institutional leadership, Adam has consulted for global corporations such as Ecolab, HB Fuller, and Jack Link’s, supporting the design and implementation of risk-informed business continuity programs for complex enterprise environments. He has direct field experience in incident management for disasters ranging from presidentially declared major disasters to local multi casualty incidents. 

 

Adam is a board-certified practitioner across multiple disciplines, holding the Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credentials, among others. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Emergency Management at Oklahoma State University, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to scholarly inquiry and evidence-based practice in the field of organizational resilience.
